You could not convince me that everything was going right
You were betrayed by your pretty but gloomy eyes
Our fairy tale world vanished in broad daylight
And we have just begun to realize
The protection we’re trying to build around us
Is nothing but a thin glass wall
All can see through it, one blow can shatter it
And push us off the edge into a free fall
The slender thread that binds us together
There are forces trying to break it
But there is something inside us
That will spur us on and we will make it
I vividly remember that enchanting look on your face
Somewhere in my memory it seems to be trapped
It reminds me that sorrow is not what we have to embrace
And will fortify that thread so that it doesn’t snap
On a brand new journey, we now embark
Bound together by this slender thread of love and trust
Look at the heavens- there goes a shooting star…
So let’s make ourselves one and make a wish for us
The slender thread that binds us together
There are forces trying to break it
But there is something inside us
That will spur us on and we will make it
