BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa campus presents Quark 2013 - Quantum Leaps from February 1-3. With over 50 highly competitive events, 7 avant garde workshops and an exciting line-up of Guest Lectures and performances; Quark 2013 is expected to be a technical extravaganza like no other.
The event line-up includes flagship events such as Robokombat and Burnout (an RC Car event). Other exciting events include the Quark National Quiz, Applification (Android App Development) and Matka (a gaming tournament). Quark is the first Indian tech fest to officially associate with Google Developers; having hosted two pre-Quark Hackathons , with a 72 hour Hackathon lined up for the festival.
The festival will witness cutting edge workshops by the likes of Wikipedia in domains as wide-ranging as Pneumatics, Robotics, Wireless Sensor Networks, Micro-controllers, Gesture Recognition and thePython Wikipedia Bot framework. Quark will also host the world’s pilot Content and Design conference - Mark My Word, which boasts of an impressive speaker line-up including fashion designer Ritu Beri, best-selling author Nikita Singh and National-award winning director Quashik Mukherjee.
